The York Care Foundation proudly presents Laugh For Care, an evening of laughter and entertainment with the brilliant Marshall Button as Lucien, the sharp-witted, opinionated North Shore mill worker, and New Brunswick’s own Blue-Collar Philosopher. Lucien’s engaging storytelling has delighted audiences for decades, and now is your chance to see him live!

By joining us for this night of comedy, you will be directly supporting the York Care Foundation’s ongoing efforts to enhance the lives of our residents. Every ticket sold helps fund our programs and initiatives that provide care and services to the 218 residents at York Care Centre.

About Marshall Button

Marshall Button is currently Artist-in-Residence at Moncton’s Capitol Theatre, president and co-founder of The HubCap Comedy Festival, and has been a freelance theatre professional for more than 44 years. He is best known for his creation Lucien, which premiered at Theatre New Brunswick in 1986. The five full-length Lucien plays have been performed more than 2,500 times internationally, and in every Canadian province.
